If it says we paid £9 million then its bollocks.

We didn't have a pot to piss in, there was no way we spunked 9 million quid on a kid from Germany no one had ever heard of.

I was told it was more like £100,000

Bought for £100,000 and sold for £3m? Sounds like great business to me.

Re: Interesting article on Savio Nsereko
I understood we gave away DaCosta (playing in the Champions league last week), Diamanti ( an Italian international ) , Fabio Daprela ( the Swiss Roberto Carlos) and possibly even Valon Behrami ( Swiss international ) to extinguish our 'nothing' debt on Savio 'Kid Nap' NSEREKO.
Plus some money

It's fairly obvious that it was all about the Italian club and our Director of Footballs family relationship.
We were done by the Mafia and ended up sleeping with the fishes.

There must be a way to blame BFS/Curtiss for this.

Re: Interesting article on Savio Nsereko
a? We gave away those players to extinguish our debt?

I thought it was hardly anything as the agreed fee was 9m euros but it never reached that due to appearance clauses not being met. We then got Da Costa plus 3m euros in exchange and kept some sell on rights? So all in all it wasnt that paid a deal financially.

I await AlexV telling us how had we not mishandled yet another youngster he might have been something special.

Tenuous links to George Weah?

Re: Interesting article on Savio Nsereko
As I understood when Da Costa and Diamanti left we received nothing or a small fee and the money we were due was knocked off our liability.
Was a three way arrangement with Brescia & Fiorentina (?) I thought.
Anyway we owed money and had to give players away to extinguish the residual debt.

Re: Interesting article on Savio Nsereko
Since he's without a club, perhaps we should snap him up to ease the injury crisis.

On another note, Savio NSEREKO is one of my favourite CLUB MAN defensive lines.

EVERY BIG CLUB IN EUROPE WERE AFTER HIM
